“Bringing the World Together in Celebration of Beer”

International Beer Day, founded in 2007, is a worldwide celebration of beer taking place on Sunday, August 5 in pubs, clubs, bars, breweries, beer gardens and back yards all over the world. Timothy O’Toole’s Pub will join in the festivities by offering sample sized pours of any draft beer (46 to choose from) for $3 each, all day. The boisterous Streeterville bar will pour 5 ounce samples of draught brews from open to close (10 a.m. to 3 a.m.), all in the name of “bringing the world together under the united banner of beer.” American craft and imported selections include: Dogfish Head Festina Peche; Goose Island Black Mission; Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale; New Holland Dragon’s Milk; Three Floyd’s Apocalypse Cow; Tyranena Bitter Woman; Delirium Tremens; Hofbrau Lager and many more (the complete draft beer menu is listed below).
Come this August 5th, Makers, Lovers and Sellers of beer all around the globe now have another reason to raise their frosty mugs. International Beer Day is about celebrating the establishments who produce it, sell it and give folks a place to enjoy it. There aren’t a lot of things the whole world agrees on, but enjoying beer is one of them, so let’s all raise a pint this August 5th: to Beer, a drink that brings the world together.
