Chef Pollard Demonstrates Dishes from his Seasonal Prix Fixe Menu

Epic’s Executive Chef, Mark Pollard, will welcome curious cooks for a unique luncheon experience that incorporates a cooking demonstration, instruction and tasting.  Spend Saturday, May 26 at the River North restaurant, where Pollard will offer an informative and topical culinary class that focuses on seasonal produce.  The theme of this month’s class is “Spring Strawberries.”

The cooking event will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a 30 minute kitchen demonstration.  Guests will learn how to prep, cook and plate dishes from Chef Pollard’s “Spring Strawberries Prix Fixe Menu” (outlined below).  Participants will then be seated at the communal table in the dining room, where they will enjoy samplings of their dishes, served family-style, along with wine pairings.  Recipe cards will be given out so that guests may recreate the menu items at home.
